Ok so I've been off microgynon for quite sometime now as we are hoping to fall soon with our mext mini puma. For a few reasons we have a set month in which we will stop trying and wait until next year. I would really like it to happen this year :o)

My cycle is all over the place and so the ovulation calculators i belive will be incorrect i assume.
Any ideas on what else i can do or things to look out for? Or is it a simple case of having 'lots of fun'?

you can do many other things than lots of sex
1) temperature charting (temp is supposed to go up slightly while ovulating)
2) paying attention to what's in your knickers (sorry to all men and those of a sensitive nature) when you are ovulating you get what's described as "egg white cervical mucous" sort of stringy and clear slime (just like egg white in fact!)
3) many products on the market from the cheap (ebay) to expensive (clear blue fertility monitor) basically they all amount to peeing on a stick to detect either the rise in oestrogen that occurs before ovulation or the surge in lh that occurs before ovulation

Lol bednobs I can clearly remember knicker checking everytime I went to the loo when I was trying. Its amazing how exciting you feel when the gross stuff is there!! I used to get a strange feeling too in my stomach when I was ovulating. There is a 7 day window too to fall pregnant either just before or just after. I dont think the fact that your cycle is all over the place will necessarily mean ovulation kits wont work, you just wont ovulate at the same time each month so its harder to work out when you are. Get knicker watching is all I can say and mark the days down each month and see if theres a pattern. Good luck, and relax and enjoy it lol will happen qicker that way with no stress.

Ha ha I know! Its easy to advise others but when it comes to yourself its different. As you know by how obsessed I used to be! Lets hope puma follows our advice and doesnt end up in a state like I was at the time hee hee.
