<May I ask a personal favor? Only some of you will do it, and I'm fairly certain I know who you are. If you know someone who fought cancer and won, or fought cancer and passed away, or someone who is still fighting, please add this to your status for 1 hour as a mark of respect x X x>

What do they hope to achieve? Some days I don't want to be reminded about cancer....Or that people I love lost the fight. I also think that it's like a guilt trip. If you don't re-post it, you don't care.

I know what you're saying ummmmm. It's not nice being reminded all the time but I do the same as most people, just ignore them. I don't even bother reading more than the first couple of words now.

I dont repost any of them....I saw one of these on one of my friends statuses that said the make a wish foundation would donate 7 cents for everytime it was reposted... how the bloody hell would they know how many times?

I dont repost them, I think they are a form of emotional blackmail "if you are a good friend you will do this" type of thing.

yep - I ignore them too, and i tell my friends off for posting such posts too ! But you get them about how much do you love your son, daughter, cat, dog, dad, mum etc etc....or if you know someone that is suffering from Aspergers, dislexia etc etc...flippin do my head in they do ! rant over.
