Blackberry memory

I am selling a Blackberry Curve 9300 on behalf of a friend and obviously want to delete all her personal information from it. Even without the SIM card, if I switch the phone on and go into Facebook, all her messages are displayed. Can anyone tell me a way of restoring it to it's factory settings or deleting this? - And no, it doesn't work when I try and manually delete each message! Thanks!
