hi, some months ago i had an eye test at specsavers, (it was a free offer) meaning to get glasses via glasses direct or some such site. I never got round to it and (surprise surprise) i have lost the prescription.
Would ss still have it do you think, and if they did would they give it to me seeing as i'm not buying glasses from them, i paid about £2.50 for the test and they've already given me one?

You can but ask, bednobs - if they have kept a note of it, they could run you a copy (although they might charge). It doesn't matter whether you are or are not buying from them, the prescription belongs to you.
my wife works for specsavers and says you can get another copy free of charge but you have to go instore to get it.

thanks both
They've given me my prescription before though I was on direct debit for contact lenses then.

They have another offer on for £10 eye tests at the moment, I keep not getting round to making an appointment as they keep sending me reminders.
