I can now reveal that Morgan Le Fay's chosen links were:
HYDRO ELECTRIC
RADIO STATION
ARABLE FARM
CATTLE MARKET
Last week's new player, 'straydogs' didn't put in an appearance this week but a warm welcome instead to 'micmac' who joined in for the first time this weekend.
It is interesting to what players go for and what they don't.
Dairy farm attracted 9 players but 'arable farm' was favoured by just 2 of you. I would have expected an even split.
The most popular choice was for 'Electric blanket' (10 players) but why that should come to mind in the middle of a heatwave, I have no idea (unless they are all our Scottish players).
It was interesting to see how curent news influences choices as RADIO 4 had support from 3 of you.
The first match of the game was found in the opening minute by necomer 'Micmac' for 2 points and that qualifies him for this week's honours:
**** HOTSHOT OF THE WEEK ****
***** IS NEWCOMER MICMAC *****
All four links had been found by 11 minutes past 9 but all were neglected/rejected by the majority of players, therefore, this was one of our lowest scoring weeks.
(Not sure whether this will appear twice, as my internet connection gave up as I was sending it)
Thanks Morgan Le Fay - your sorcery fooled me this week - and Gen2. Well done to all scorers.
I am pleased to score on my first week.I will forgive gen2 for spelling my name wrong. Although this is my first entry, I have looked at this before. I always thought crofter set this game.
Sorry micmak, being Scottish, I instinctively type 'Mac'.
You are correct about Crofter. He ran the game for many years, but for family health reasons he relinquished the role earlier this summer. I have taken over as coordinator and scorer until such time as I find it too onerous or someone volunteers to take it over.
Hopefully your luck will hold throughout the following weeks.
