I've got a new avatar (thing 1), but will have to change it soon so the others don't get jealous (they won't know, but I will). I promise not to change it too often and then I will put the old one back!

I use it to talk to friends who are in my home time, from university, who I used to work with or to chat/gossip with those, who like me, don't go out in the evenings. Have also got some FB friends from here - it's not so scary. I am not very good when people from my school days ask to 'be friends' as I can't remember their names!
sher, Newton Beach is nearer to Porthcawl. but a lovely place, my grandsons lovemit there, they prefer it to Southerndown, has rock pools, very sandy with rocky areas too!.......easy for us, very close, probably not as scenic as Southerndown, but the village is pretty, two pubs and a village green, maybe give it a try next Spring sher!.........x
Hi sibton, my husband set mine up for me, boy #1 (11 years old) put the photos on for me (because I use an iPad) and some of it I have worked out for my self. I can see how younger people could get themselves into trouble with posting negative stuff about friends or befriending unsuitable sorts though. Even though my setting are set to the maximum, if I want to say anything less than flattering I send a message to the person I am 'talking' to.
