The travellers will stay put, as i suggested before, i can't see the British judges making any kind of decision that to contradicts the stance held by European Court of Human Rights, or whoever runs the show these days.
Lets all go and be squatters, i can see that it has some benefits, no council tax, rent, electricity, gas, water bills, sounds ideal.

As soon as the first unauthorised caravan arrived at that site the council should have applied to the courts for an order directing the owner of the land to stop permitting any further settlement.
Give these Travellers an inch and they'll take a mile.

SR, not a mile, half the land is theirs, however they didn't get permission for the other half, and quite frankly the council should have been able to get them out long ago, but that is our law for you, slowwww
