how do I connect my VCR to my HD satellite box

Can anyone help!! I want to connect my Toshiba VCR to the Virgin HD box but I don know where to begin. There is an HDMI lead from the box to the TV & I have a variety of scart leads to hook up but no idea how to attach them. Does anyone have a lnk to an easy to follow webpage?
