What do you think of the restrictions announced today, for visitors to the Olympics

I like that bit, that says if you carry a bottle of water over 100ml in size, you will have to empty it out, then take it inside and re-fill it at the free supply points. Pigs might fly!!!

They're basically the same anti-terrorism rules that apply at airports throughout the world. For that reason, those rules will be easy for international visitors to understand.

It makes perfect sense to me.

It's not much different from security rules in any big locations - lots of places won't let you take food or drink in, and given the number of people likely to attend these events, it doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

I think its more to do with profiteering than security, why is the stuff they sell so expensive?
