Being serious- we get spiders etc but this is the biggest ever in my friends house and im genuinely wondering if its an escaped pet??

i have a daddy longlegs up in the corner near the ceiling and it has killed two of them big ones with the matchstick legs

they seem to be bigger than normal a friend on facebook posted a pic and had thought like you an escaped pet it was even bigger than in your picture I havent seen one myself thank god even opening your picture scared the life out of me.

That looks like the one which climbed out of my shopping bag earlier before I went to Tesco -a chunky number. There's one like that lives in my bath.

PS - it won't hurt you - it'll be more frightened of what you might do to it, than what it can do to you. Spiders are nice, they eat flies and other such nasties.
