Class sizes

Does anyone know the current maximum class size for Key Stage 1 classes, thanks?

Something's telling me 30, but I could be wrong, I usually am!

there were 32 in my sons rception class, but 30 now hes year 1. Google does seem to suggest a limit of 30 though

Thanks both, my daughter is in a class of thirty and I have heard a 'rumour' that my husband's ex-business partner (the one whole stole everything from us) is unhappy with his daughter's current school and is looking to move her. If so, I would have to face the wife in the playground every day and the daughter would be in my daughter's class (don't think I could keep my cool if I had to see either parent on a daily basis).

Although it is 30 I think that in 'exceptional circumstances' they can go over and in some areas all schools and year groups are under these circumstances!
