During our paella last night I had a call from mum to say that my sister was rushed into theatre and the tram there safely delivered her baby boy. She has been in hospital for a couple of months with placenta praevia and it has been touch and go at times.
The news was especially well received by our elder siblings after having recently been reunited with them following a 31 year estrangement.
I have my OH to thank for reuniting us with our estranged siblings. He was googling stuff and chanced upon my name on a missing persons' website. The sFe arrival of the new baby is the cherry on the cake, so to speak.
Very well thanks, Ummmm. There are still a further 4 siblings I previously knew nothing about who still remain to be found. There are 11 of us in total ranging from 45 down to 21 years of age.
I had to break the news to my estranged siblings yhat our younger brother died nesrly eight years ago. They took it quite hsrd, particularly as their last memories of him were as a 6-month olbaby smilong and being bounced up and down on their laps.
