will uncle get a worse sentunse cos he says not guilty with all police witness and from so long. What will be his sentuns.
Evening bigglez

If you want to drop charges against your Uncle, if circumstances have changed with him now and you are getting on with him as '09 a long time ago, for example, and he regrets what he did and has apologised to you etc......nothing to stop you ...just advise your solicitor...he/she will do the rest........BUT if the police decide to go ahead, he could get a suspended sentence for GBH if they go ahead with the prosecution, or maybe a fine. Highly unlikely the judge will give him jail time, so up to you really, mate.

There again...if you AND the 3 remaining police officers continue to prosecute, it could be more likely that your Uncle will face prison time.

Hope you sort it out, bigglez and do whats best for the family too. :0)
ABH...sorry, not GBH....meant to put that in :0)

@ bigglez A new trial date will be arranged when ALL witnesses can be present. It's not your uncle's fault that not all witnesses were present. It will not affect his sentence at this stage given that it has already gone to trial. Best thing you can do is talk to your boss and hope he will let you have another day off. If you have a difficulty let the CPS know and they will summons you - you can then show your boss the summons.

@ certain posters above. Please - if you don't have anything sensible to say don't bother posting. It is not constructive. Spare Ed has already dished out warnings on other threads.

Please folks be a bit more tolerant on here it's obvious that bigglez is having difficulty with English, this person is asking for your advice.
Stop tacking the Pi88.Ron.
agree with ron, I suspect that bigglez is texting from a phone, we all kno what he meanz.
Do you have a solicitor, bigglez? If so, he/she will be in the best position to advise.

As regards the writing style, this isn't unusual. It's on a par with (or better than) the written work I see from a significant number of secondary school students and I think this text speak will be the norm for many adults in years to come. (And yes, as a teacher, I do try to correct English but so many students just roll their eyes and think teachers are 'sad' and just don't understand about these things.)

court in October. Uncle sed he dont do battry so not gilty. Now what happens
you go to court in October when asked
Question Author
thank you for help. is battry more serius then abh. wud cop take bribe from uncle to chanj evdense.
No abh is more serious than battery. I doubt very much a police officer would take a bribe and your uncle would be very silly to try it since it could result in a charge of perverting the course of justice which could result in a lengthy prison sentence.
