The News of the Screws has gone, but the Sunday Papers are going to have a field day, aren't they?

He has now become a liability (and his future leadership threat is finished). Shouldn't Cameron put him out of his misery?

Not while he is of some use, shame that these politicians can't seem to stop messing up, or at least the tabloids keep banging on about it till the cows come home.

presumably decided to quit before the Sunday papers got on his case. It was hinted the Guardian had evidence they hadn't printed, for a start
