Receipt from 2002

Earlier this evening boy #1 found a receipt from 2002, all lovely and crisp. Seeing as we have moved 4 times since then where can it have been hiding? (It was for some ordinary shopping, not an expensive thing so it wasn't kept on purpose.)

Just on the floor - in the back room, nothing special in there, a computer, a new telly and loads of DVD's and a big wicker basket of dressing up clothes and soft toys. All seems a bit odd to me.

what in the big wicker basket, could you have pulled something out of there and dropped it on the floor?

The contents of the basket are constantly out on the floor (soft toys and dressing up stuff) - not even a crease on the receipt, yet I can't find my driving licence (which should be with the 'safe' stuff). God moves in mysterious ways.

Are you sure that the receipt is yours? (i.e. is it from somewhere you would have been shopping in 2002?). If not, i might have come from a neighbour's recycling bin and been stuck to someone's sole (or blown in by the wind).

It's from himself's hometown, can only imagine it while he was on his pre-Christmas visit home. Not a big deal, just a bit odd.
