veal from calves, venison from deer
I concur, however venison is generally from certain breeds of deer and not all deer to be used for food is classed as venison
Veal are young calfs & venison is deer meat
Veal is from calves separated from their mothers, penned in enclosures in which they cannot turn around, and FORCE FED until they have enough tender fatty meat to be slaughtered.

i think the last answer was from a vegi

I agree with "aloha." The calves used to make veal live terrible lives. Im sure "aloha" is a vegitarian, well I am too; and for good reason. Animals have feelings too and they deserve love and respect. Tearing baby calves away from their loving mothers and chaining them inside a crate with less than 20 square feet of living space is cruel and unfair to the animal kingdom. All animals should be able to live their lives to the fullest.
