Our Clio Diesel engine exploded. It is a 2002, bought end January 2005 with 8054 miles on the clock and had 12500 in July when the incident happened. After several weeks the warranty company said that petrol had been used in the vehicle. We have proof that this did not happen. As this was a second hand vehicle could the previous owner have introduced petrol in to the system, had the vehicle drained and this problem had been waiting to happen. Can any one suggest another reason for the engine to explode?
