what gets me is it's dark already, not even 6.30pm, why can't we have the longer days, i really hate the nights drawing in so early. No rain as yet, but feel it's on it's way.

When the clocks go forward in a couple of weeks it will be dark here at 4.30.

Just checked the Met weather forecast and it seems we'll get the rain overnight. Hopefully it will have passed by the time I get up at 6.
