an old problem still neeeds sorting out...

when i usually compose a message, within 20 words the syntax goes all over the place, eg enwh usuall com i sepo messa a ge inwith th sye taxn esgo,
you get the general meaning. is there a simple solution, i´m now at my wits end.
scotsman suggested using a new keyboard.

That's not the syntax, it's the letter order.
At a guess you are typing on a laptop with your hand resting on the touchpad.

resting one the touchpad, thats not physically possible. i´m saying that, i might need to eat humble pie, no its not, i´ve made 2 corrections already without resting my hands.

simply test: Plug in a mouse, disable touchpad.
Or... try an external keyboard.

I had the same problem, although I already used a mouse. I didn't know you could disable the touchpad until my son in law told me. Problem sorted!

still not sorted, it looks like i need to invest in a mouse mat!! as the frigging mouse wont work on a normal table

Try the mouse on a piece of paper, a booklet, a tablet mat - you must have something that will do.

This happens to me frequently on answerbank.
I think I'm typing too fast for my PC or for AB- I'm not sure where the problem lies. Sometimes the cursor reappears part way through the text I'm typing so new words appear in the middle of earlier text. A bigger problem is sometimes a whole string of letters is missed out.

finally got the mouse working, seems waste of time, as the problem factor 30 seeems to also have has resurfaced!! and i have no crumbs!
