I need to curtains on Upvc windows and a door. Obviously I cannot drill any holes, but wondered if anybody else had found a way to support heavyish curtains on Upvc. Thanks!

I think you'd still just have to put a rail above the top of the door as they are specially sealed. Sorry
I don't know how close to the walls your doors are, but if they're not too far, you can get telescopic rods that can support fairly heavy curtains that have suction pads on the ends.

We haven't got UPVC windows or doors, but I would tend to go along with snapdarlich & say fit a rail above your windows & doors for heavy curtains. Good luck.

Why are you fitting them to the doors and windows?

A better bet would be to mount them to the brickwork above. This enables you to pull the curtains back wider than the aperture of the door or window.

I have put mine above the plastic in the wall

Thank you for your responses. We have low ceilings, and the door frame reaches the ceiling with no gap for attaching a rail.
