update re. broken camera, no recipt

Took the camera back to Tesco, demonstrated the fault, and was told that without proof of purchase there was nothing that could/would do....since I bought a few other thing at the same time as the camera, they won't accept my bank statement as proof and they say that clubcard only holds records of purchases for one month, i bought it 4 months ago. Duty manager was rude and said that the best they could do was get the tech dept to repair it, but without the recipt i'd be charged! :(

Help! what do I do next?

call the customer services team at head office. Have all the details in front of you from your last post and explain that the store manager is not up to date on sales of goods act?
