I recently had my PC cleaned out and lost Adobe Acrobat. Whenever I try to sign up for Adobe it asks the question 'what version' and gives the options of <filename>.exe or install_reader10_uk_air_mssa_aih_exe or version 7.1. They all appear to be binary files. I am on Windows Vista but haven't a clue about which version to request. Help please.
If you mean adobe acrobat reader my advice would be not to bother, get foxit reader, it does the same thing and is far faster and has a lighter footprint than adobe reader.
Thanks Chuckfickens but I need Abobe for my utility company and also my gym and I'm not sure which version I am supposed to select. When I first downloaded Adobe it was very straight forward (about 4 years ago) and as I am not very technology minded I just freak out when confronted with options I don't understand
But Chuck's point is that you don't need Adobe, if you install Foxit the PDF documents from your utility company will open in that and look exactly as they did in Adobe. However http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/otherversions/ is the download page for Adobe Reader, just select Vista then the language you want and any of the versions (10 being most recent)
