Cape Verde Islands

We're looking at hols for next summer, as you do in October, and like the look of the Cape Verde Islands.

Has anyone been? Any reviews?

My mate went to Boa Vista, All inclusive, 2 weeks, £600 pp, said it was fabulous. Bobjugs and I are actually looking to go there next Feb/March

oh right, ace! We did notice the all inc's do seem to be relatively cheap, looking at the Clubhotel Riu Garopa, looks really nice, all the reviews seem good too, and I could practice a bit of Portuguese!

we've not been but some good friends have been twice and love it, they do the all inclusive package. sorry i can't give you any more info as i don't know where they stayed, just know that they loved it.

I also have a friend who went this year but I'm afraid I don't know where, and he had nothing but good things to say. He and his wife both loved it.

My mate stayed at one of the Riu hotels and she said it was fantastic. She's quite a fussy person so it must have been good.

My sister went last year, really enjoyed it - quiet, unspoilt, quite barren scenery but very different.
