I used to work as a cleaner .
In London I could earn up to twelve quid an hour in some of the more up market houses on Wimbledon Common ,mind you this is some years ago now .I now live in Norfolk and don't do scrubbing any more .
If I wanted to employ a cleaner I'd expect to pay between six to eight quid an hour .
