corrie drives me mad sometimes. Last night was sooooooooo predictable.
it was obvious that saint Sophie would dob her ridiculous sister in, and i guessed who was in the car (who else would it be?)!

But - I did think it was funny when Sally saw Rosie's skimpy outfit and told her 'My god you look like you're entering Miss World'
to which Rosie forgot her tears and smiled 'Ooh thanks Mum!'

Thank goodness for the - occasional - brilliant one liners!

Coronation Street is so predictable now. So much so, that I don't watch it anymore.
I stopped watching this, and Eastenders a couple of years ago. Got frustrated with the storylines that were too long and went from the ridiculous to the downright outrageous.
Well I was a die-hard fan but have to say I am thinking of giving them up too - ridiculous storylines!
stape getting up after jumping off the building was the last straw for me... the storylines had gotten absolutely ridiculous by then so I gave up. Only really watch Emmerdale now, and that's not so good these days either.
I think the problems started when they increased the episodes. Three times a week is enough.
I love Corrie and always will. Yes, the storylines are sometimes daft, but it must be damned hard always trying to think up new ones! Like crisgal says, the one liners are often brilliant. I only knew that was John in the car cos I'd read it in the paper, but, before we knew it was John, it could have been Frank looking to make more trouble for Carla!
