Vitis purpurea vine help
not been on in ages but got a slight problem. we have a vitis in our front garden and despite my tying and taping it to beanpoles in last nights high winds it came loose and bent in half and didnt sound healthy when put upright.
The outer bark has split but it dosnt look to have gone deep. have moved it to the back garden and retied it with more twine and bean poles, plus the back is less exposed.
I used some micropore (first aid tape) on the split sections to secure the bark in place. will this be sufficient and will it be ok? only had it less then a week lol :/
