Password Protect Folder - Windows 7

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit and would like to password protect a folder. I don't have BitLocker in my version of Windows, is there a free alternative that works with this version? I've read some reviews of Freeware, but none that I've tried is compatible.
