Cocodamol.& ibuprofen

Taking 30/500 2 every 4 hrs and ibuprof 2 every 4 hrs can i take anythingelse?? Not really helping x

No ....if it is following your fall yesterday....then don't add to the analgesics. monitor the situation for the next 48 hours.

I was recently taking strong Ibuprofen and the hospital also prescribed Omozy-something or other to protect the stomach.

Hi janejenya, the 30/500 will probably be the Co-codamol. I have been prescribed them in the past.

400mg (2x200 so was toying with taking 3 :0/. )

tinkerbell.. for short-term pain relief I would not recommend taking anything less than 600mg of ibuprofen. My doctor has even said that to me in the past.

ibuprofen does not make you drwsy. I agree with bags that you are under dosing yourself

ps, i meant to say, that 400mg every 4 hours is more than enough, but if you took 600mg every 8 hours it might help more, especially if you take the cocodamol in between
