I want to put flowering plants on my balcony. I am not very green-fingered so they have to be easy to look after.

Also, I have the sun all day with not much shade available. Oh and they have to be cat safe too.

Anyone got any ideas as to what I can plant? Thanks so much

You might want to look at begonias. I do not know if they are cat safe, but otherwise, they suit your criteria.
I'd recommend geraniums. They are ideal for balconies, look gorgeous and are cat safe.
how about pot marigolds. The don't mind a bit of drought and love the sun

Any of the summer bedding plants would be fine but especially geraniums and begonias which would tolerate very dry conditions
In the winter, a mix of pansies, ivy, heather and some bulbs too.
