recovery of items deleted from the ,'deleted' in the emails

I accidentally deleted an email in the ,'deleted' box of my emails; is there any way I safely recover that deleted Email?

MY crystal ball is in for a wash so afraid I can't guess which of the several hundred (or thousand) different ways of getting or viewing email you are using.

But as a general rule, no, the deleted items is your second chance, if you managed to delete it twice by accident then you've lost it.

You can recover deleted items in some programs - we use Outlook 2003 (bang up to date!) at work and in the 'tools' menu (from the deleted items folder) you can select 'recover deleted items'. This works for about 14 days after deletion. I suspect if you're using a bundled home program like Outlook Express this facility won't be available. You could try calling your email provider's helpdesk. It is probably retrievable from their server, it's just a question of whether they are prepared to do it.
