Tomorrow will be life changing for me.

As some of you are aware, I'm going in hospital tomorrow for a hip replacement.
I've had lots of good wishes and nice comments from everyone on here but I'm still dreading it. Never been in hospital in my life only as a visitor. Hate to think of that surgeon mashing away at my groin area!
When I can get back on here, I'll let you know how it went.

Knee replacements are far harder to get over and I can tell you that the people I met in hospital who had just had hip replacements did extremely well, were up and about in no time and in little or no pain. So, I hope yours goes really well too and wish you all the best. I will need my right hip replacing some time as well, as it is now giving me a lot of grief. But honestly, I'm sure you will be delighted with the results! The worst thing is the hospital food! YUK YUK!! So, get friends to bring you in something nice to eat! Hugs!
