I just read a post someone wrote pretending their cat died... and how upset they were and their partner was.
Other regular posters here recognised it was a troll... (no idea how.. their senses must be very tuned to it!)
Why would someone do such a thing and what kick do they get out of it?
I think its pathetic... sad.... and also surprising they dont have more in their life to do than create a whole pretence....

I just cant understand it.. I hope that they never truly lose something or someone they love.. though I expect one day they will.... karma and all that maybe!

Yes, but I think Ed needs more to go on than just the word of a troll spotter :-)

I'm actually rubbish at spotting them....except the person mentioned in the OP...

why cant we put L.O.L anymore?
You will, sith123.
I leave it to the experts.... but sometimes a story is too odd to be true...usually they are the ones that defy logic... those are easy enough to get suspicious about
agreed
I think the Ed thought it would be fun... either that or Sophie chose the change as her prize
Ed's got too much time on his hands....
One can enjoy a troll with a sense of humour. The other kind are not worth the wear and tear on the keyboard. "You pays yer money and you takes yer choice".
The one about the monster in the lake eating the Rottweiler was great fun, nobody objected to that!
