Im trying to find an old 50s rockabilly song (or maybe very early 60s) called "Cigarette". Im not sure who its by but my memory keeps saying Johnny bond. I dont know if it was an 'A' or 'B' side.
The lyrics that I remember go like this:-

(spoken)
I live in darkness never knowing day from night
I was never needed no one ever held me tight
Then one day it happened she chose me from all the rest
I stood very straight and tall, she knew I was the best

Chorus (sung)
The way she set me on fire
my fevers getting higher
the way she set me on fire
I know ill never be the same again.

That is all I remember.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks but no!....... I remember it sounded similar to that but it was a bit more of a "Rockabilly" beat......... I may have the Johnny Bond Wrong. The reason Im thinking Johnny bond is because I used to have a Johnny Bond single called "Hot rod Jallopy" And I just have a feeling it may have been the 'B' side of that.
The song was called "Five minute love affair by Johnny Bond.
