foreign plants

what do the, dragon tree,canarian palm and the strelizia, look like and how would you care for them? also would they survive in the midlands? they were brought back from the canary islands

Dragon tree, I think, is an indoor plant, sort of spiky and can have stripey leaves and doesn't like full sun. I may be wrong on that though. BUT the strelitzia I have grown two from seed in my conservatory. They love full sunshine and lots of heat and have beautiful flowers that look like birds heads, hence the name Bird of paradise plant. They can grow quite large, as I am now discovering!!! Can't help with the canarian palm though. Porschebabe
