o2 internet settings

Ive got a k750i on o2 and cannot access the proper internet, I've sent the word "active" to 2020 and installed the settings that they send through. However when i try to access the internet it simply says "settings not valid, check with your provider"
Every time i ring o2 customer servicesand tell them, the clueless staff simply resend the same settings and tell me to turn my phone off and then on again, suffice to say i get the same message.
The girl who sits next to me at work also has a k750i on o2 and has had the exact same experience, Please help us. Thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I had this problem with my V3 and what I did was take it back to the shop and it turned out to be a software problem so no amount of settings that O2 send you isn't really going to work!!
They had to manually input the data straight onto the phone to allow me internet access which took about 1/2 an hour and it was tested out and it worked!!
I haven't had a problem since and all the downloads work fine!
