It's not particularly easy to get into HR as most vacancies will be looking for somebody with previous experience. I suggest you try and find an HR administrator's role with a large company. That way you will see a wide variety of procedures and processes and will be exposed to other areas dealt with by HR such as compensation & benefits, disciplinary procedures, etc. A large company might be prepared to sponsor you to study your your CIPD in the evenings but obviously you would then be under a obligation to stay with them for the duration of your studies. If you left before completing them you would probably have to refund the course fees. It might be difficult to complete your CIPD without being involved in HR activity as some of your coursework could involve completing projects which relate to your daytime activity. You would also need to check which colleges in your area offer a CIPD course unless you are prepared to go the remote learning route which may be an option. The CIPD in Wimbledon may be able to offer you some advice.
