Should I tie up the leaves on my palm trees this winter? They are only about 4foot tall, many thanks

There are over two and a half thousand varieties of palms, so there may well be more than one answer to your question!

thanks a lot for that, I am no gardener and the trees were here when I moved in. More by luck I seem to have done the right thing in taking them out of pots tec. Feed trees?????????????????

If you don`t want to loes them, wrap a rafia mat around the top growth, then a bubble wrap around the pot, keep almost dry until spring, and in a frost free geenhouse.
