Facebook problems

My daughter is having trouble logging onto her facebook account. When she does so, she does not get the normal layout, but all the links are listed down the left hand side of the screen, but clicking on the links doesn't work.
She has tried using my laptop and the same thing happens, but if she logs onto my account, with my laptop, everything is as normal.
My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5315, my daughter's is a Toshiba, but I am not sure of the model (I can find that out if required)
It would appear that the problem might be connected with her facebook settings, but we have no idea how to overcome this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Weird that yours is okay- have you tried using a different browser like Firefox? This has happened to me before but it usually resolves itself by refreshing a couple of times.

Occasionally happens when a web-page is not built correctly. Firefox does it sometimes. I get the impression it is sometimes caused by 'other' web traffic.
