I think this prog is fab, David Attenbrough is just the King of nature, I love his shows. I have to say I think the cycle of life the penguins go through - in particular the King pengs - is fascinating, I can't imagine a more tough life, yet they do it so dignified. But I have decided if I ever come back, I want to be the woolly bear caterpillar; eat as much as you can all summer & sleep all winter - yes, that would definitely do for me!

islasmum - I don't know David Attenborough but have a friend who does and she says he's even nicer that he appears on TV - an absolutely super gentleman.

Absolutely fabulous programme. I've taped it to watch it again before next weeks one comes on. I'm gobsmacked and cant thanks D A enough ..for bringing it all to our tele screens. What a great man !!!!

Saw thins on Catch Up earlier. Absolutely brilliant, and the criminal penguin bit was funny. I just wonder how the penguins manage not to go flying around during the 130mph winds!
