all seems a bit too good to be true

then it is

do not touch with a bargepole. These companies prey on people with duff credit ratings to sell vastly overpiced cars at astronomical interest rates and they also add indemnity premiums and the cars are usually sh1te so for a car worth 3K you'll end up paying 10K.
I second what dzug says. Good advice, that!

thanks, i think we sort of knew that but just needed to hear it lol. Oh well back to public transport for us lol
Not necessarily naty, listen if the car credit mob had been a good deal, you'd have taken it out would you not?

Assuming you did take it out, you think you could afford the monthly payments, right?

So you are already prepared to pay X per month, right?

So save X per month and at some point you'll be able to buy a car outright with no con men selling you overpriced car/finance etc.

Ok you won't have the car now but I reckon in a year you'll have enough to get something at least as good as you would have ended up with using the credit mob. Of course it all depends on how big X is! Good luck

Rule 1: never borrow to buy a car, madness!
hi my fiance has currently got a car on finance with concept and he has never complained about them. they got him the car he wanted, which is a 02 plate ford focus zetec 1.8. they work on what you say you can afford to pay each month and find crs within that budget. if theres ever a problem they get it sorted straight away. i would definitely recommend them.
the car is 4500 and he is paying 5200 with the interest. he has the worse credit history and this has gave him the oppurtunity to put it right. the cars are not old bangers they dont deal with cars older than a b4 2001.
i got finance with welcome and I had a citren C3 and they kepted me till 1am in the morning going over and over and bugging me and they paid for me to go up there in a cab just to sell me a no good car well I got the car and they tould me a load of lies and just tould me it was only 4,500 but not tould me about the rest infacted it came up to 11,556 thats well over 50% APR i get less on my credit card the spoofed me and when i found out they would not take the car back and I got stuck with it. so done trust concept or even welcome finance who supply the finance for them there just as useless as them regardless what some people have said about them yetr they might be knd to some but a good posentege they rip off big style as they got the money for the car aswell as 20% on the insurances they sell and the finance they sell they say they dont get anything for doing what they do just the money from the cars and having loyal custamers that come back to them well thats a load of bull they gain it though the finance and riping people off for part exchanges and selling them hight intest moters in retunr and they they pass there car on as a fiance car thats cost them less any ways
naty7980, did you buy a car with concept car credit? I am looking at buying from them and am interested in your experiences.
everyone stay clear of this company they make all kinds of offers just to get you there, they are just false promises.
they say they have hundreds of cars to choose from which they dont alot of the cars are damaged. they also offer 12months tax and cash back. which when you question them about it you dont qualify for it. i got suckered in by there deals and drove miles to get there but dont anyone else fall for the ********
concept have owed me £6.400 for refund on my ppi have been waiting three years for refund!

the rang me to offer me £500.00 !!! what a joke !!!
Had the ombudsman on there case now there trying to get out of it but they got no chance!

bought a vectra from the 5 years ago car cost £4775 ended up paying over seventeen grand!
loans paid off! cost me over 5k on repairs over the time i had it! sold it last year for £1500 stay away! they lie to rip you off!
They dragged me 150 miles with false promises of £1500 min part ex (wudnt take it as part ex) £400 cash back 12mothes tax £60 train fare refunded and a promise that all there cars are under 5 years old and with less than 50000 miles. They even picked me up from the train station. Then they pull out a 8 year old car with 90000 on the clock and tell me that's the only 1 they can finance me on. When questioned about the promises made "I don't know why they said that" was the reply. As soon as I said I don't want that car they basically pushed me out the door with no train refund and they wudnt even give me a lift back to the station!! I tried to ring the very helpfull girl (becky) from the office to ask why she had lied to me over and over for two days, but she always seemed to be in a meeting after that.as you can probly guess my advice is steer well clear of these lying cowboys(and cowgirl) they don't care about you just your money.
