Is there a tendency for ink jet printers to reproduce red as pink when copying photos and coloured documents? Are some makes better than others?
Thanks
Mine doesn't, but the colour might start to fade to another colour if the cartridge is running. I had an Epson until it broke, pleased with that, we've got a Lexmark now, very pleased with that.
All ink jet printers will produce good results when they're used with good quality inks (either the manufacturer's own inks or decent compatibles) AND (about a thousand times more important!) good quality photo paper. No printer will produce the correct colours when used with 'value' papers.
Use something like Kodak Ultima (or Tesco 'Finest' ) and results will improve enormously. (NB: When using ANY photo papers you should always read the leaflet inside the packet, which tells you the best settings to use with your printer. (They're often not what you'd guess at!)
