Adobe reader(s)

I have Adobe reader X , Adobe reader 9 . and Adobe reader 9 installer .
Are all these necessary and if so what do they do. Could i get rid of any of them? thanks.

I suspect you could get rid of the lot. Have you tried Foxit Reader ?
Get rid of all installations of Adobe Reader and install this instead: http://www.foxitsoftw...om/Secure_PDF_Reader/

Not only does it not suffer from Adobe bloat, it supports MDI.
