Yeah....a bloke I know appeared on come dine with me. I can't remember what he said he did for a living....but I laughed because he's actually a professional gambler.

Yes and yes. I've been on CDWM but selling an ingredient in a deli I managed to a participant (not cooking!). A male friend of mine took part in another CDWM programme but didn't win. And a lady and her daughter who own a posh B and B near me were on Four in a Bed when it was Three in a Bed (does that count :-) ) They didn't win and even though their B and B is gorgeous,they came across really badly!!

He came across quite badly on the show....he's actually good fun to talk to (in the pub) in real life. I suppose you can escape from the pub though....

When they did the Warrington one, I knew the bloke with the larger than life personality on it (Come Dine with Me). He's well known in the area.

I think my old hairdressing tutor was on CDWM a little while ago.

When I was head of careers I had a bit of trouble with a local hairdresser (can't remember what exactly - but it was him that was being awkward, don't think any of our students wanted to go there on work experience) and he was on CDWM and he came across as a total arse.
