BUYING BOTTLED GAS IN SPAIN

I am going to Spain for three months in my campervan.Does anyone out there know about how I will be able to buy bottled gas as the three I have will not last for that length of time.

Bottled Gas is freely available, in Garden Centres, Hardware shops etc. Just about everywhere. Remember there is very little piped Gas in Spain, so the majority of the Country use bottled gas for cooking. In my case (and many others) also for H.w.and C.H.

Camping Gaz have their blue bottles, instructions printed in red on them. Used to work for them

Make sure that the head clamp fIting is the same Not sure if you can just buy the bottles or hand one In to buy another

It is called butano here not camping gaz.

You may find that camping gaz is the only gas bottle that you can exchange, so you should have provision to run off camping gaz if necessary.

If you know where your going have a look at paginas amarillas (yellow pages) on your computer.Enter the details and it will tell you where the stockists are.But the camp sites will direct you to the suppliers
