Aligining decimal currency amounts in Microsoft Word tables
2 Answers
I am having great difficulty in aligning currency amounts in a Microsoft Word table. I am finding it impossible to get the decimal points to line up correctly. I am no expert at computers so would appreciate a relatively simple solution. Thanks .

Do you have different cells in the column formatted differently? If so, highlight them all, then go to your tool bar and click on right, centre or left alingment and all the cells will then be the same. Sorry if that's not what you meant by the decimal points don't line up correctly.
I've also just been playing around with Word, trying to re-create (& solve) your problem. I think this should work:
At the top left of the page (just below 'File' and white icon for a new blank document) there should be a small square box with what looks like a letter L in it. This is the tab settings box. Click it repeatedly until it changes to what appears to be an upside down T with a dot in the top right hand corner. (This is the decimal tab setting). Now click on the ruler, at the top of the page, above the column in the table where you're trying to line up the decimal points.
It worked for me. I hope it does for you!
