As a foul shot, as a nominated red because when re-spotted it was snookering the last remaining red and as a colour after potting it as a nominated red?
Question Author
that's twice!
i make that 3
1 as a foul shot
2 as a nominated red because when re-spotted it was snookering the last remaining red
3 as a colour after potting it as a nominated red

is that not 3 times?
I can pot it as many times in a row as you like. Just have to take it out of the pocket and put it on the table again.
Once as a foul shot.
Once as a nominated red.
Once as a colour after the red.
Three times in a row or do you mean by the same player? In which case I don't know.
that may work for yellow but would it work for pink
I concur with the two answers already posted.

A foul shot commited by your opponent whilst potting the pink, resulting in the pink being re-spotted in such a way as to obscure any remaining Reds, that's 1.
You then nominate Pink as a Red in a free ball situation and pot it,
that's 2.
The Pink is re-spotted and you've left yourself in perfect position to pot the Pink again and collect aother 6 points,
that's 3.
oh yes but by both players
Can't the player that committed the foul be asked to play again? So therefor they would pot it three times in a row with the above scenario, not very likely but possible.
Question Author
ok I menat legally potted 3 times in a row
Question Author
Illegally it could be infinite!
In that case I've no idea, sorry.
btw - i didn;t know i was just counting up D97's shots and got three was cofnused as to why R1 only got 2
shhhhh......fluffy.

This is Kayless, not that other person you mention.

You can tell the difference because of the gracious way Kayless accepts perfectly reasonable answers to an ambiguous question......

Under what circumstances do you envisage this scenario occurring, Kayless; hypothetically or real-world?
Question Author
All of these snooker loopy things are theoretical or at least very unusual. It's like the equivalent Football scenarios mostly they would never happen but are theoretically possible under the laws of the game.
oh, ooops so sorreeeee
