Yes, folks, at last night's Leicester City v Watford match, there was the sparrow hawk, swooping over the pitch again, about 9pm, presumably enjoying the game, as surely no food at that hour! It comes in from the east and flies out, or onto the roof, over the west stand. It is a permanenent fixture and beginning to be a lucky mascot while we win our home games. I suppose it is keeping the pigeons away, but it is amazing to see it. The floodlights make it as bright as day?

Been told it's a peregrine falcon. Apparently some people in the Kop got "bombed" but that is VERY lucky. I'll be looking for it tomorrow.
Must be a brilliant sight, Peregrine or Sparrowhawk. I guess it roosts in the stadium somewhere, pigions for food, lights for warmth, what more could it want.

It took some prey ( mouse or rat) back to the rafter hideout during the game v Leeds on Sunday - but definitely NOT lucky as we lost. Although someone got " bombed" again!
maybe it is looking for a small fox :)
