i have visualisations in windows media player, is there a way to copy them and burn to disc so that i can play them on t. v.whilst listening to music

the file extension that the visualizations use are specific to windows media player. they will not be read by your dvd player or ps2 or whatever you intended to use. you could try and google for a program to convert the files to mpeg or avi format, then use a movie maker (windows comes packaged with one for free) to add the music in. it will not however necasserily be in sync with the music as the visualizations move with the music. if you used the movie maker all you would be doing is adding audio to a static video. close as i can get in my 2 minutes of thinking though

Have a look at SnagIt.

I think it can capture windows (like a visualisation) to AVI. It may also capture the sound, but I'm not sure.

If not, then you'll need to sync up the music to the captured AVI.

I'm looking to do this myself strangely enough but am looking to program it... ie, automate the capture and sync of the music.
