I know this ain't cool at all, but hey, who cares?!

I keep hearing fragments of a song, I think it's called "You are so beautiful" - at least, that's the line it opens with. It's a love song (shock) and, anyway, on a friend's itunes, there's a copy of it. It is very beautiful, to me...

The reason I am writing this is because my friend has it listed as 'Ray Charles' singing. It doesn't sound like Ray to me, vocally, or for that matter the sort of thing he would do... but of course I could be wrong.

Does anyone know who wrote/originally recorded this song, and also if Ray did in fact do it? Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Will

Is it a very slow, country song?

I think it could be Kenny, oh I can't think of his surname, he also sang "Islands in the Stream" with Dolly Parton.

Ah, Kenny Rogers!

It's Joe Cocker, if the lyrics are;

You are so beautiful

To me (Repeat these 2 lines)

Can't you see

You're everything I hoped for

You're everything I need

You are so beautiful

To me
