Up in the top left-hand corner of your monitor-screen there's an arrow-shaped icon which you click on if you want to go back to the page you were on before the present one...hence, back button!
Yesterday, someone...Buenchico, I think...pointed out you can achieve the same effect if you hold down Alt and press the left-arrow on your keyboard. It works for me, so give it a go.

Mine works OK, also the "forward" arrow.

I'm using Google Chrome, might be a problem with Internet Exploder or Firefox?
